The Flight Research Training Center, established in 2002 by the Alliance for Flight Safety Research in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, focuses on improving the safety of commercial air transportation in an effort to reduce the Loss-of-Control accident rate. Located in Roswell, NM, the Flight Safety Training Center uses state-of-the-art In-Flight Simulation Technologies to teach pilots how to better cope with upset events that can lead to a Loss-of-Control accident, one of the leading causes of commercial aircraft accident fatalities.
